2018年3月20日 · This is what the hull will look like once the Epoxy Resin/Fiberglass Matt is all cured. At this point you are ready to re drill the intake grate bolt holes from the bottom of the ski and then install the FX SHO inserts. I used 3M 5200 Fast Cure to seal the ride plate inserts to the hull. This image shows the FX SHO inserts in place.

2018年8月20日 · NanoXcel Yamaha hulls are painted (yes, even the hull bottom) and the outermost color layer is very thin and the applied factory paint is not particularly tough. The hull material layer right behind the Yamaha paint (black color and about 1mm thick on my NanoXcel 2 GP1800) seems fairly tough. It will show through where the soft paint is worn away.

2006年3月24日 · It will slow you down. Period. Plus after some use it will peel off, we had installed them on some rental units in Key West to protect the hulls from the coral beach in KW. They slow your ski down and will eventually tear off. Not worth the trouble or expense, just be careful when have to beach your ski.

First time stand up owner questions (650Sx Small Pin 750 Swap)
Alright so I found a pretty good deal on marketplace and decided to pull the trigger. This is my first kawasaki and first stand-up. However not my first ski (have had quite a few) I have a few questions regarding the current setup. The ski is a 86 650SX powered by a twin carb small pin 750. Compression measured around 155 in each hole.

2009年10月19日 · Really there is no need to. The only thing that is a PITA is getting the motor in and out. IF you do it right, you should only need to do that a once or twice. Use the cases for mock up. After that the pipe sucks, but is not that bad once the hull is trimmed. When i started, i built a pvc stand to hold the doo.

There is a drain for the bilge area. There is a white plastic box screwed to the bottom of the hull, behind the engine. It should have a black hose that goes up to the top of the engine compartment to a white angled fitting, then another hose that goes out the back of the 'Ski to the pump. Make sure the hose on the back isn't split.
