2017年6月22日 · Halo 4 and 5 have prologue and epilogue scenes - those are both CG, made by Axis Animation (the studio that did the Spartan Ops cutscenes). Halo 4 also has a cutscene done by Sequence (they do the Terminals), when the Librarian provides John with the vision of the Forerunner era. All of the other cutscenes between them are using the game engine.

2022年1月22日 · H2A is still a great update to the OG visuals and 343i is limited in what they can do because it’s still OG Halo 2 geometry and design for all of the game. They did great without making it from scratch in a new engine. For example take that the BLUR and OG cutscenes aren’t 1:1; blur cutscenes change the scene a bit.

And I agree with you somewhat on the gameplay, I think in parts Halo 5 has really fantastic levels, like Swords of Sanghelios. But in other areas it's lacklustre. Compare the first time you get a tank in Halo 5 to every other game. AotCR, Metropolis, The Ark, Infinity. Tons of things to kill, vehicles to blow up, etc. And then Halo 5 has Glassed.
