Using the Enhanced Native Trainer, I removed the MK2 from Franklin (I removed the check mark from "equip the Combat MG MK2"), and presto: I could waste those Merryweather m_therf_ckers again! Late reply but I thank you for giving me the idea of doing that.

I'm getting a similar problem, I can normally get about 3 - 4 minutes into the first mission with Franklin and Lamar stealing the cars but it crashes after a while, goes to a black screen where the sound stutters and eventually drops me to the desktop and says GTA V needs to close.
