I only want to rename files into a logical naming convention for ease of finding old files. I do not do any editing etc. of the contents of the files. Currently getting 'No Preview Available' message.

Windows can only show thumbnails for a few known file types like image files, it is the software you have installed for other file types that generates the thumbnails, check the settings in AutoCAD to see if there is a setting for generating thumbnails.

2013年11月21日 · Report abuse. In reply to anaswaleed's post on February 6, 2014. I found that Visio will only open AutoCAD when saved as a 2008 DWG Version. If you are using both Autocad (2013) and Visio as I do then you can copy the autocad drawing to the Clip board the third down when right click then paste into Visio 2013. RO.
