I’m a fan of the older ones and making a project. The gpu is gonna be weak but really any thinkpad is unless going for something like p5X. 1.

网页2023年11月2日 · X1 Carbon Gen 6 will be far more enjoyable to use though - better screen (100% sRGB and 300 nits even on lowest end model), very lightweight and much easier to carry around, keyboard just as good as T480, battery is enough for 6 - 7 hours of light work i.e. Word, PDFs, etc.
A "perfect" T480 upgrade to the reasonable max journey.

网页2024年6月28日 · To get it out of the way first: You do NOT need to limit yourself to B+M key NVMe drives. There is NO SSD device whitelist. There is NO PCIe generation limit. There is NO drive capacity limit. BOTH drives get PCIe 3.0x2 bandwidth, simultaneously. Bonus: You CANNOT insert an M-key drive upside down into a B-key slot.

If you are above 17 (i think) then your driver it's up to date. I think i worked out the simplest procedure to update TB.
