2009年11月5日 · If the A77 is a high-speed, 2-track stereo machine it'll be a tough choice. The Latter models of TASCAM 32 used a digital tape counter and could do return-to-zero which is dead handy. The A77 has a belt-driven mechanical counter which can be a pain. (I've used a '32 and a B77, for what it's worth)
Tascam 38 vs. TSR-8... should it be like this?
2007年7月22日 · It was a tough decision between the Otari and the TSR-8 though. I like the classic layout of the MX5050 and the 3-head design, but the TSR-8 just had something. Now and then TASCAM came up with some good surprises… the TSR-8 is one of those in my book. The sound is more on par with the higher end Otari 24-tracks, IMO.

So I've had to do some omitting and grouping of models which I wish I didn't have to do, but I do nonetheless, so the poll is focused solely on mixer/transport combo "Portastudios", and not the standalone transport models (134 and 234).

2007年9月15日 · As for caps, I've had very few issues except with power supplies. None of my TASCAM mixers have needed any caps replaced in the signal chain. Caps are a potential issue with any vintage board though, regardless of manufacturer. The M-300 series are nice boards overall... a lot of bang for the buck. IMO, $300.00 for an M-320 is a steal.
