I use a standard toilet bowl brush to do the scrubbing. in between those cleanings, we also use those foaming pods that others above have mentioned, though i don't think they are particularly effective.

The manual to my Sea Land toilet says do not use abrasives (Comet, Soft Scrub), or caustic chemicals (Drano) or lubricants or cleaners containing alcohols or petroleum distillates (Pam, Pine Sol, WD 40, etc).

2019年10月9日 · I screw it onto a 6 ft long 3/4" diameter section of hose (used exclusively for tank flushing) and feed it in thru the toilet, using a plastic cup with the bottom cut out to keep the toiled flush valve open.. Just feed it down there and keep rotating it, until the draining water runs clear.

2017年9月29日 · Perhaps a small round brush that a chimney sweep might use . or a extra large round toilet brush and bend or modify the handle . the holding tank wand might knock enough gunk of the walls of the drop tube to satisfy your issue . perhaps a good cleaning and then use extra water in the bowl might solve the problem.

The guest toilet is a standard domestic toilet. The master bath toilet is a Tecma Silencer Plus Macerating toilet. The blue streak system works great.

It doesn't really smell like holding tank odor but more like a chemical smell. The odor is from the toilet for sure. I've throughly ckeaned it and all around it.

Residential toilets have a P-trap ---integrated into the design of the toilet bowl and it allows for water to be retained in the toilet bowl providing a 'vapor barrier'. RV gravity drop toilets and macerator toilets rely on water seal and water level in toilet bowl to provide that 'vapor barrier'.

2009年2月18日 · We periodically need to clean the toilet seal, as indicated by water not staying in the bowl. We use the Sealand Bowl and Seal cleaner. Sealand used to sell these 5" white plastic flexible sticks, rough on one end, that you would slide between the ball and the seal, and it would do a fabulous job of cleaning the seal. Sealand no longer makes these.
