2021年10月28日 · While I like both staff and Martial Artist monks, I have to give a slight preference to the staff option. Both because staff is one of my favorite weapons personally and because it gives the Monk an extended range. Combined with their Stealth skill, the staff allows for greater placement options for them in the party. Both options are fun though!

I plan on taking the cornugan smash line so you ultimately can do multiple disabling effects at 15 staff monk. The last 5 levels i'm undecided on. Either going to push alignment change and go instinctual warrior or going for fighter/two-handed fighter.

In fact, i personally think monk with weapon is ways better, since there doesnt seem to be any classic D&D monk feats, like adamantine fists etc. Basic weapon attack always better. I used Karlach as barb/monk with homing trident, it was total nuts, imo you only need flurry of blows from monk.

My Monk is subclass "way of the hand". it has passives to make you fist magic (you need to click and toggle them though) Manifestation of Body - Necrotic damage. Manifestation of Soul - Radiant Damage. Manifestation of Mind - Psychic damage.
