If it was just at night or during feeding, I would think 5x8 for a single doe, and 8x8 for two or a doe and kids (?) might work.

WEBSep 16, 2023 · The goat shed here has individual stalls with doors. The stalls are large enough for turning around and stretching out when laying down, though not large enough for kidding. (I only have wethers) When feeding, it's a simple matter of putting the containers in each stall once the goat enters and closing the door.

They drag a lot of moisture in the stalls as well. Rubber mats, I use DE then sprinkle shavings then put down 1/2 flak of hay then add one flake daily.

WEBMay 26, 2015 · Do the stall mats allow for urine to seep through, thus seeping into the dirt? How often would we need to remove them to wash them with a hose - 1x per week? My other thought instead of the mats would be to leave the stalls as is, still using straw, but then covering the rest of the barn floor with concrete cap blocks.
