Glycine oxidase (GO) is a homotetrameric flavoenzyme that contains one molecule of non-covalently bound flavin adenine dinucleotide per 47 kDa protein monomer. GO is active on various amines (sarcosine, N-ethylglycine, glycine) and d-amino acids (d-alanine, d-proline).
